Student interest and activity in theatre programs of Colleges and Universities throughout the United States, is evidenced by the UNITED STATES INSTITUTE OF THEATRE TECHNOLOGY (USITT) ever growing membership. We at “Historic and Classic Theatre Chairs” are a member of the USITT.

Your recognition of Donors and/or Corporations as Financial Supporters of your Performing Arts program should in some way be acknowledged.

It is our belief that a replicated, scale model of your existing theatre chair, awarded to them, would be appropriate and appreciated.

Because of “LOVE OF THEATRE” and “THE PERFORMING ARTS” the school would be very thoughtful in making it possible for the non-donor to purchase a replica of the existing theatre chair of your school.

Places of Worship

Churches are becoming more and more aware that individual auditorium seating is desired over continuous pews.

It is also a known fact that, for the major part, places of worship request donations through the purchase of family pews, which could require a donation of $2,000.00 or more. There is nothing wrong with that type of request and fund raising program. However, I would like to make a suggestion that we feel would be of a greater benefit to your fund raising program.

In recognition and appreciation of member contributions to your facility, we suggest that an appropriate gift be given them. Upon your church selecting a seating manufacturing comany and the style of chair selected, we will replicate that particular chair in scale model, have it silver or gold plated, and the name of your house of worship identified on it.

It is very easy to determine the cost of a scale model chair replication. Just send us three pictures of your existing chair or of the chair you've selected, and we will send a quotation to you. The three pictures should show the (1) side view, (2) front view, and (3) rear view. We will identify the chair and advise you accordingly. It may be that we have already sculptured your chair and have the master model in our inventory.

Chair Restoration Projects

PERFORMING ARTS THEATRE restoration projects are being worked on and planned throughout the United States. Each one, bar none, have fund raising programs underway. Some programs use the "selling" of chairs with the donor's name plate attached, some with name plate plaques attached to the lobby wall, and some acknowledged through the performance program. There is nothing wrong with these types of programs and many others.

May I be so bold as to suggest still another program which we feel will increase your donor base and per capita contribution?

A gift, if you will, to the Board Member, Corporate Donor, Patron Of The Arts and other Financial Donors. A solid recognition, everlasting and seen by guests, relatives, and friends in the way of a replicated, Silver or Gold Plated, scale model of the theatre chair that does or will exist in your theatre upon completion of the restoration.

Gift Shops and Collectors

CLASSIC THEATRE CHAIRS is producing replicas of theatre chairs, in scale models, for fund raising programs. Our inventory of designs that are classic, traditional, contemporary, custom designed, etc. total approximately 75 units. Our thrust is to the facilities listed on our HOME page. However, due to overruns in production and a specific commitment of our clients, there are times when we have available units for individual sale. Not knowing the quantity, style, and details until a completed shipment is made, we cannot list what would be available. Some orders of "LIMITED EDITION" pieces would also be available if the client decides not to acquire the overrun.

I would like to suggest that for the interested collector or retail gift shop, you advise us of your interest, and we will add you to our list of interested persons.
